'Cosmic Love' by Florence and the Machine. Was on a montage made about Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Decent song.

But then
It stopped
And I was in the darkness
So darkness I became

'Welcome to the Black Parade' by My Chemical Romance. Again. It never get's old.

Do or die
You'll never make me
Because the world
Will never take my heart
Go and try
You'll never break me
We want it all
We'll carry on...

'What Makes You Beautiful' by One Direction. One of those fluffy pop songs. I was listening to the radio, which I don't normally do. Acceptable, in it's own way.

'You Got a Friend in Me' by Randy Newman. The iconic theme from Toy Story. We play a version of it in band.

And as the years go by
Our friendship will never die...

The Literal Trailer for 'World of Warcraft: Cataclysm' by Tobuscus. Another catchy literal trailer. They have a distinctive style.

Does it work?
Yes, one of them faints...

'Half Truism' by The Offspring. Another older song. The Offspring are primarily so-so, but Half Truism is one of the better ones.

If we don't make it alive
Well it's a hell of a good day to die
All the light that shines strong
Only lasts for so long

And it's ashes to ashes again
Should we even try to pretend?
All the light that shines strong
Only lasts for so long

'At Least is Was Here' by The 88. Theme song to Community. Catchy, upbeat and lyrically dissonant.

Give me some more
Time in a dream
Give me the hope to run out of steam
Somebody said it can be here
We could be roped up, tied up, dead in a year
I can't count the reasons I should stay
One by one they all just fade away...

'We're Gonna Finally Be Fine', the song that opens Community's 3rd season. Very catchy.

And be less weird
Than the first two years combined!

'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)' by The Proclaimers. Not for any particular reason that I can recall, but no doubt related to the tape that was stuck in Marshall's Fiero in How I Met Your Mother. The vocalist has a great Scottish accent!

But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door...

'Seven Devils' by Florence + the Machine. I'm liking them (her?) lately. It was a fitting song to go over the final scenes in the season finale of 'Revenge'.

Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in your house
See I was dead when I woke up this morning
And I'll be dead before the day is done

'Fly' by DJ Earworm. The 2012 Summertime Ball mashup. A catchy, high quality song (as to be expected!).

We can go everywhere, everywhere
I want to take it too far
So far from where I used to be
You know I wouldn't have it any other way
Baby baby, ooh baby
Here we go

We can go to Wonderland
Anything you want
We got it
We can get the upper hand
We have got the power
We can get hotter, hotter
Till the night gets away...

'Rain' by Sid. The fifth opening theme to 'Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood'. Yes, I did go to the effort of learning the lyrics. A quite nice song, and the background visuals in the show are pretty awesome too.

Ame wa itsuka yamunodeshou ka
Zuibun nagai aida tsumetai
Ame wa doushita boku wa erabuno
Tsutsumarete iikana
Ame wa yamu koto wo shirazuni
Kyou mo furitsuzukukeredo
Sotto sashidashita kasa no naka de
Nukumori ni yorisoinagara...

English:
Will this rain ever stop?
I’ve been freezing for a long time.
Why does the rain continue to fix on me?
I wonder if it could embrace me.
Today, the rain falls again;
endlessly it falls knowing no end.
We nestle close to each other to share the warmth
under this umbrella you gently hold out to me.

"Paradise lost" by Feint generally I love anything by Feint but this one is one of the few with lyrics that don't include other artists.

Imagine the world without pain?
Imagine the world without sadness?
Imagine the world without fear?
Imagine!

'I'll Be Gone' by Linkin Park, from their new album 'Living Things'. It's a perfectly acceptable album, and this is one of the best songs on it, but none of them are outstanding like those of previous albums. They do grow on you after a while, though.

When the lights go out
And we open our eyes
Out there in the silence
I'll be gone
I'll be gone

Let the sun fade out
And another one rise
Climbing through tomorrow
I'll be gone
I'll be gone

'Hologram' by NICO Touches the Walls. The second opening theme to 'Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood'. I haven't got the lyrics quite perfect yet, which makes it annoying when it gets stuck. I find that knowing the full lyrics to a song gives me some measure of control over it, rather than getting trapped in a repetitive area.

Maigo no mama tabi shiteita
Nezumiiro no sora no shita
Higawari no chizu ikutsumo no yume ga nijindeita
Itsuka wa sa
Chippoke na boku no kono hohaba demo
Ano kumo no mukou made yukeru kana

English:
I’ve been travelling while lost
Under this gray sky.
Every day with new maps, stained with my many dreams.
I wonder if someday,
Even with these tiny steps of mine,
I’ll be able to travel beyond these clouds.

'I Can See Clearly' by Bob Marley. Because now I can. Cool

I can see clearly now
The rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright) bright (bright)
Sunshiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright) bright (bright)
Sunshiny day

Oh yes I can make it now
The pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is the rainbow I've been prayin' for
It's gonna be a bright (bright) bright (bright)
Sunshiny day

Look all around
There's nothin' but blue skies
Look straight ahead
Nothin' but blue skies...

'We Are Young' by Fun.. One of those regular catchy pop tunes. I'm inclined to describe it as an anthem, whether correctly or not. They're usually decent.

Tonight
We are young
So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun...

ladi dadi by Steve aoki ft Wynter Gordon

the mood is set
the food is eatin'
the time is right
for love
it's beating
a little bit of talk
a little bit of pleasure
a little bit of makin out
and than we work it out
a little somokey-smoke
tell me a dirty joke
up on your roof
on your roof
and we dont need nobody
to have a little party
its just two
just us two
and we dont need nobody
cuz we go ladi dadi
just us two
me and you
me and you

feel the kiss
and smile so softly
we're just friends
but i like you slightly
we wont cross the line
we'll go on proper
takes some time

just a boy and a girl
just us two
in a world

'Never Gonna Give You Up' by Rick Astley. And I haven't even been rickrolled recently. Go on, click the link - I dare you.

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around
And desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie
And hurt you

'Nothing Suits Me Like a Suit' by Barney Stinson. From the 100th episode of How I Met Your Mother 'Girls vs Suits'. An epic closing song.

Imagine a world where all the boys and girls
Are impeccably well-dressed
That delivery guy in a jacket and tie
That puppy in a double-breast
That eighties dude with muttonchops
That baby with a lollipop
That lady cop who's kinda cute...
Nothing suits them like a suit!

'Hacking to the Gate' by Kanako Ito. The opening theme to Steins;Gate. I'm not really sure what style it is, but it's a pretty good song. I think it was a tad trickier to learn than the FUllmetal Alchemist themes.

Mugen ni hirogaru yume mo egaku mirai mo
Bokutachi ni yurusareta kyoei no genri
Yuugen sore wa futatsu no hari ga shimesu
Zankoku na yakujou to sentaku e
Hacking to the Gate

English:
The infinite dreams and imagined futures before us
Are naught but vain theories we may hold
Finitude is what the two clock hands show
As they point toward a cruel destiny and choice
Hacking to the Gate
