Python, and my experience with it

Post by Alex Steiner on Thu Oct 28, 2010 9:39 am

I've been mucking around with Python.

Here's my first text output. It's all the primes < 1000000.

It's 600kB of text, so open it in a web browser for best results.

I upped the size by an order of magnitude on another computer and created a 5.6MB text file. It's still all on one line though.

That is so cool.

Words cannot express just how cool that is.

It's a programming language. Renowned for its intuitiveness, and is taught to first year engineering students (and high school IPT extension).

The annoying thing is that there are two versions floating around (2.6 and 3.1), which have different syntax.

Google is your friend if you want more info or some tutorials.
